Section 8 Existing Housing / Housing Voucher Program
This program is designed to promote adequate and affordable housing, economic opportunity and a suitable living environment without discrimination for tenants in eastern and southeastern Monroe County.

Program participants are screened for eligibility through an application process and income documentation. If eligible, participants are placed on a wait list and will be contacted when appropriate housing becomes available.

Urban Renewal Agency
 Elderly grants – based on income and age, grants are available for home repairs and improvements
 Monroe County Home Improvement (HIP) Grants – based on income, grants may be available for home repair and improvements through Monroe County
 Low interest loans for residential properties – owner occupied and rental units
