March 19, 2008 Perinton Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year Dinner  tickets available in the Village Clerk's Office.  The honorees are Rev. Garth Brokaww and Katie Fien.

April 25, 2008 Arbor Day Ceremony 4:00 P.M. at the Thomas Creek Wetlands Park, at the end of Liftbridge Lane East.

June 1, 2008 Fairport Girl Scout Bridging Ceremony 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm beginning at Fairport Junction and crossing the liftbridge to Kennelley Park.

June 5 – Aug 14, 2008  Gazebo Concert Series – Thursday evenings 7:00pm – 9:00 pm. at the Vincent G. Kennelley Park,  South Main Street at the Canal.  Bring your own chair.

June 6-8, 2008 Fairport Canal Days

A 3 day event with 400 arts, crafts and food vendors lined along the curbs of Main Street and near the canal.  Starting with fireworks on Friday night, the festival attracts over 200,000 visitors and continues through the weekend with great food, live music, artisans, Erie Canal activities and fun. www.fairportcanaldays.com
