GARBAGE PICK-UP SCHEDULE OF HOLIDAYS
FOR 2008

January 1,2008– New Year’s Holiday
Residential garbage collection for Tuesday, January 1st will be on Wednesday, January 2nd with the regular Wednesday collection.

January 21, 2008– Martin Luther King Holiday, Monday
Regular pickup schedule all week.

February 18, 2008 – President’s Day, Monday
Regular pickup schedule all week.

March 21, 2008– Good Friday
Commercial dumpsters will be emptied on Thursday, March 20^th, instead of Friday.

May 26, 2008– Memorial Day-Monday
Residential garbage collection will be picked up Tuesday, May 27th.  Regular pick up schedule for the rest of the week.

July 4, 2008 – Independence Day- Friday
Commercial Recycling will be picked up on Thursday July 3rd.  Regular pick up schedule for the rest of the week.

August 29 and September 1, 2008– Labor Day, Friday and Monday
Commercial dumpsters and commercial recycling will be emptied on Thursday, August 28th, instead of Friday, August 29th.  Residential garbage collection for Monday will be on Tuesday, September 2nd with the regular Tuesday route.  Regular pick up schedule for the rest of the week.

October 13, 2008– Columbus Day, Monday
Regular pick up schedule all week.

November 11, 2008– Veteran’s Day, Friday 
Regular pick up schedule all week.

November 27 & 28, 2008 – Thanksgiving, Thursday and Friday
Residential garbage collection for Thursday, November 27th will be picked up Wednesday, November 26th.  Commercial dumpsters and commercial recycling will be collected on Friday, November 28th.

December 25 - 26, 2008– Christmas Holiday, Thursday and  Friday

Garbage collection for Thursday, December 25th will be collected on Wednesday, December 24th with the Wednesday collection.  Commercial Recycling will be collected on Wednesday.  Commercial Dumpsters will be collected on Friday, December 26th.
